Whitewater Rafting in Tamugan, Davao City is here to promote water sports particularly whitewater rafting with the Davao River as its playground. The 3-hour run starts from the highlands of Baguio District, then down to Calinan, and then the lowlands. All in all there’s about 30 rapids of varying degrees of difficulty. There’s also additional activities for the more adventurous, like cliffside rappelling.


Monfort Batcave
The Monfort Conservation Bat Sanctuary in Brgy. Tambo Babak District has set a record as the world’s largest colony of Geoffrey’s Rousette fruit bats or Rousetteus Amplexicaudatus as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Record in 2006 with 1.8 million bats.  To date, it is said to have almost 3 Million bats living inside the sanctuary for some them just transferred from other batcave around Samal due to human intervention while at Monfort batcave they are protected .

Hagimit Falls
The concept of developing the area is making it as a ‘kaliguanan sa lasang’, which means that you are going to experience “a pool in the midst of a forest”. This is a cascading water falls coming from it’s source at the top of the mountain. Good for picnic, hydro massage or just a plain relaxation. Located in Barangay Cawag, Penaplata Igacos.


The Davao Crocodile Park is an establishment that showcases a ‘state of the art’ crocodile farming system in the Philippines. It has the most recent crocodile farm design equipped with modern facilities and equipments. The presence of other exotic animal species like raptors, monkeys, bearcats, snakes, birds, and other reptiles makes it one of the most desired tourist destinations in Davao.

Kadayawan Festival  

The Kadayawan Festival is an annual festival in the city of Davao in the Philippines. Its name derives from the friendly greeting “Madayaw”, from the Dabawenyo word “dayaw”, meaning good, valuable, superior or beautiful. It is being celebrated every 3rd Week of August. The festival is a celebration of life, a thanksgiving for the gifts of nature, the wealth of culture, the bounties of harvest and serenity of living.


Located in the southern part of the Philippines is the Samal group of Islands, an archipelago consisting of nine islands which stretch out over a land area of 28,000 hectares.
